You deserve to feel safe. People are tired of having their cars stolen or their homes broken into. No one should have to worry about being attacked or having their lives put in danger. The reality is that under the Liberals, Canadians have never felt more unsafe. This is wrong, and I am committed to changing it.
 

Crime has reached alarming levels. Violent crime has increased by 50% and gun violence by 116% since Justin Trudeau became Prime Minister. In 2023, 34% of homicides were committed by criminals out on bail or other forms of release.

Statistics Canada confirms that homicides have risen by 27% since Trudeau took office, with 2023 marking the third-highest number of homicides on record since 1961.
 

This crime wave is the direct result of dangerous policies like Bill C-75 and Bill C-5, which prioritize releasing repeat violent offenders and removing mandatory jail time for certain crimes. Trudeau’s failure to control the Canada-US border has worsened the situation, with 85% of handguns seized by Toronto Police being illegally imported from the United States.
 

I will push for stronger sentencing for repeat offenders, especially those involved in violent crime or property crime. The justice system must be fair, but it must also be firm in holding criminals accountable.
 

Under the Liberals, drug overdoses have spiraled out of control. Since 2016, 49,000 Canadians have died from drug overdoses, while fentanyl super labs continue to operate, poisoning people across the country.
 

A recent report from Criminal Intelligence Service Canada reveals that there are now 63 Canadian-based organized crime groups with international connections in the U.S., Mexico, and China. These groups are responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of fentanyl, further fueling the crisis.
 

Canada has become a source country for dangerous drugs like meth, fentanyl, and MDMA.
 

You deserve a Member of Parliament who will prioritize safety and take immediate action to end this crime wave.
