Canada's Debt

Canada’s finances are in disarray. We’re now spending more taxpayer money on servicing our debt than on healthcare transfers to the provinces. This is simply unsustainable.

The Liberals' inflationary spending and waste have driven up our national debt, causing the cost of living to skyrocket. Housing costs have doubled over the past nine years, food prices have soared, and Canadians are relying on food banks in record numbers. Meanwhile, the Liberals’ spending spree, coupled with planned tax hikes like the job-killing carbon tax increase, is only making the problem worse.

We need to fix the budget with a dollar-for-dollar rule, ensuring that every new dollar in government spending is offset by an equal amount of savings through internal cuts and waste reduction. This approach will stop adding to our bloated deficit and force the government to prioritize fiscal responsibility. By cutting wasteful spending, ending inflationary policies, and restoring financial discipline, we can break the cycle of debt and make Canada’s economy work for everyday Canadians again.
